Student Council at Montgomery Academy
The newly formed Student Council at Montgomery Academy with Lauren Warner as their Advisor are off to a great start with plans already underway for sponsoring a coat drive for the holiday season. Council members Allen, Terry, Allysa, Adrian, Mauricio and Jamail have each taken responsibility for one aspect of the process and we should be seeing posters, announcements and a dropoff box soon. Many thanks to Lauren and the Council members for taking on this cause during the holidays in a sincere effort of community service and outreach for those less fortunate.

Board president Ross Miller was on hand for the festivities and shared that "this year's feast ranks with the best of the best and was the direct result of hours of dedication by Team MA.
Creature Comfort
On Friday, November 22, Willow, pet therapy dog from Creature Comfort in Morristown visited the elementary and middle school classes at Montgomery Academy. Needless to say, the students and staff were thrilled to spend time with him and are looking forward to his return in January. The research is valid that pet therapy brings healing comfort and has proven to decrease anxiety and depression. Many thanks to Director Tony Gebbia and Board President Ross Miller for their support of this new initiative.
